POPULATION
The State of New Mexico’s population is 1,819,046 according to the 2000 US Department of Commerce, Bureau of the Census. County population growth rates for Valencia County rank among the fastest growing in the state. The 2000 US Census shows Valencia County to be the second fastest growing county in the State. The communities of Valencia County have also experienced substantial growth.
